Hello Spring, warmer weather and lot of festivals! We braved the cold at the Farmer's Market every weekend this winter, started opening on Friday's as well just 4 weeks ago and will look to be open on Mondays and Tuesdays very soon and are thrilled that the weather is finally getting better! A lot of our most loyal customers at the Farmer's Market were asking for a customer loyalty program, so we created one where you buy 7 large items and you get the 8th for free. Make sure you upgrade to a large bucket or bag next time you see us. Don't forget that if you bring the large bucket back, we will give you $2 off of a refill! We finally went to our first event outside of the State Farmer's Market of the year and had a great time at the World Beer Festival in Raleigh, NC at the State Fairgrounds! It was the first time we had been on the serving side at that event, so it wasn't quite as fun, but it was really fun to talk to everybody and I felt a lot better when I woke up the next day! We offered Bacon Cheddar as a flavor for the first time and it was very popular and will be back soon. Rumor has it that it goes pretty well with pretty much EVERY beer, but that came from a guy who lists bacon as it's own category on the food pyramid!
The Market Bakery is now offering small buckets of our Original, Caramel and White Cheddar Kettle Korn at the Inside Shoppes at the State Farmer's Market. Starting this weekend, Summerlin Farms in Holden Beach, NC will be carrying small buckets of all 6 flavors - Original, Caramel, White Cheddar, Cheddar Cheese, Old Bay and Sriracha!
We have a very busy April ahead as well with the Live & Local Spring Fest this Saturday, April 8th on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh and Brewgaloo 2017 on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh on April 21st and 22nd. We'll be at the Farmer's Market starting this Friday morning where we have a big wedding order to fulfill and will be open all weekend and Monday and Tuesday from 9a-5pm. We will also be at Citrix in downtown Raleigh with our Caramel Kettle Korn for their "Snack Wednesday" where they provide a small snack for all 850 employees at their office. We look forward to seeing you guys around Raleigh this month!
